44 - 30 days before departure, 25% of the tour cost

  • Mumbai/Pune - Mangalore - Kasargod

    Arrival at Mangalore Airport latest 12:00 hrs. from Mumbai or Pune. Our team will pick you up from the airport and we will proceed for lunch. We will drive down south to Kasargod and check-in our stay for the night at Kasargod. (If the time permits we will visit the Bekal Fort today itself.)

  • Kasargod - Bekal Fort - Kanhangad - Neeleshwar - Backwater Boating

    Today promises to be a mix of Culture and Nature to first visit The Bekal Fort, the largest in Kerala and known for its seafront location. Take a walk on its walls as the breeze from the Arabian Sea gives you company. Our next stop will be at Anand Ashram, where the peace and calm in the surrounding will make you want to meditate for a few minutes.
    After we will drive to Shri Madiyan Koolam Temple, known for its Malabar-style architecture and beautiful backyard. Lunch will be at Houseboat and we will enjoy an hours of boating on the Backwaters near Neeleshwar. Today will be a day where we will stick to the coast and drive through some of the most beautiful coastal scenery in Malabar.

  • Kannur – (Arakkal Museum – Light House) – Thallasserry – Wayanad

    Kannur or Cannanore as it was known in the colonial times was a premier sea trading port of Kerala even before Cochin came into existence. Today Kannur has The St Angelo Fort as a remembrance of the old days which we will visit in the morning. Later, we will listen to the princely history of the Kannur dynasty in The Arakkal Museum. The Dynasty which once owned Lakshwadeep and Maldives islands still lives in Kannur. We will also have a chance to climb the steps of The Kannur Lighthouse to enjoy the view of the surrounding coast and learn about Lighthouses in general. When it is time for lunch. After lunch we will start our ascent to the western ghats and arrive in Wayanad.

  • Wayanad (Lakidi View Point – Pookode Lake – Waterfalls – Waynad)

    We will have a leisurely morning breakfast enjoying the view from your resort. Later we will enjoy an even better view from The Lakidi view point. & then we will visit to Tushargiri Waterfall. The Pookode Lake is an interesting place for a photo stop after which we will drive to the waterfalls of Wayanad. We will be giving some free time enjoy in shopping for spices, coffee and tea. After lunch there would be free time at the hotel. Evening would at leisure in the resort.

  • Wayanad (Banasura Dam) – Crossing to Karnataka - The Bison Kabini

    We will first observe the backwaters formed due to The Banasura Dam. Later enjoy our journey in Kerala before crossing the Kabini River and into Karnataka. We reach at Kabini for lunch. After lunch we would enter the Nagarhole Sanctuary and the chances of spotting a deer, peacock and even a bison are good as we drive to The Bison Resort. The resort is a wildlife camp and your stay for the next two nights would be in luxury tents facing the backwaters of Kabini, on the fringes of the Nagarhole National Park. We will enjoy a boat ride in the waters after check in. As the sun sets, tea, coffee and snacks will be served. To sleep early is advisable tonight for an early morning wake up next day.

  • The Bison – Nagarhole National Park Safari

    Today, we will start our day early and enter the Nagarhole Wildlife Sanctuary with forest department Canter bus for a safari. The wildlife sighting of wild Elephants, Leopards have a good frequency. We will return back to the resort and enjoy breakfast. Later there will be free time to enjoy the surroundings before lunch. In the evening we will experience a nature walk with the Naturalist. There would be a fitting end to our tour as our camp guide talks about the wildlife in the Sanctuary around a born fire. (125 kms.)

  • The Bison– Mandya – Bangalore Airport

    Check out by 8:30 hrs. after breakfast and on the way to Bangalore enjoy a very Traditional Lunch around Ramnagar. Make sure that your return flight is booked after 6:00 PM to your respective home city. For return journey those tourists wish to travel by train we will drop them at Yeshwanthpur Goraguntepalya.

Tour Cost:
