Arrive in Mangalore on the way lunch & proceed to Neeleshwar and check in to the Kailani Resort which is located near beach. Evening visit to Azhithala beach. This is where the river Tejaswini joins the Arabian Sea. We visit to the place as it offers tremendous sunset view in the evenings. Dinner and overnight at Neeleshwar.
After Breakfast visit Ananthaswamy Temple which is the only lake temple in Kerala. Post lunch we visit Bekal Fort- The most iconic sea hugging fort in India where the popular song ‘Tu hi re’ from the Movie ‘Bombay’ was picturised. Experience evening boating on the serene backwaters of Neeleshwar. Overnight stay in Kailani Resort at Neeleshwar.
After breakfast proceed to a local biodiversity Village where coir making, Local loom, clams processing & Bell Metal making etc takes place. Post lunch proceed to Kannur and visit the Kannur Lighthouse, St Angelos fort, and Arakkal Museum, the latter being home to relics and artefacts from the Arakkal dynasty. Dinner & overnight in Kannur.
After check out, visit the Gundert Bungalow, the former residence of Dr Herman Gundert who is known for his work on Malayalam Grammar and a pioneer in Malayalam-English Dictionary. After Lunch, proceed to board the Vande Bharat train from Kannur to Calicut – a route which runs parallel to the coast and offers stunning views of the Arabian sea. Dinner & overnight in Calicut.
After breakfast Visit Deepanjali Museum and Miskhal Masjid which is one of few surviving medieval mosques in Kerala. Post lunch, Proceed to Calicut Airport for your onward flight back home.
