At the far end of the Pacific, New Zealand is a country blessed with nature like very few on this planet. The 12 days that we travel through the country, include 8 days on the beautiful South Island where you skydive in Queenstown and drive down on Catlins coast, where you sip some of its best wine and enjoy bite of the just plucked apples. We will also visit Te Puia Geothermal Reserve to view the boiling mudpools and cascading Pohutu geyser and see local Maori carvers’ in action.
After an early breakfast we will check out for a road journey through the length of the North Island. The highlight of this trip would be a stop at the largest fresh water lake in the country, Lake Taupo, after which we will continue with our drive to the capital Wellington. After a short city tour, we will check in to the hotel.
In the morning, we will transfer to Wellington Ferry Terminal to board ferry from Wellington to Picton. Later travel south through the towns of Blenheim and Kaikoura before turning inland and travelling through North Canterbury to reach the ‘Garden City’ of Christchurch. Check in to our hotel.

The waterfalls cascade by the cliffs and make our cruising more pleasurable. On our return to Te Anau, we will check in to our hotel.
The highlight of today is the drive itself. The South Catlin coast is the most remote in South Island and a welcome break after the busy Queenstown.
